Bully and abuse have plagued our society since time began, eroding self-esteem and creating power vacuums within our schools, workplaces and relationships.  Experts estimate that bullying and less physical forms of abuse have become so commonplace; most of us don’t even recognize the more common forms of abuse even as they’re occurring all around us.

At Rebel Ink Press, we believe writing has the power to heal.  We see words as a way to share our hurts, dream of brighter tomorrows and fellowship with others.  It’s our sincere hope that our stories encourage readers to journey through this world with open eyes and open hearts toward their fellow man.  Everything starts with one and builds, which means we are stronger together than we can ever be apart.

Rebel Ink Press presents our 2014 charitable project, Defending Love, a collection of short stories from how many Rebel writers written to raise awareness regarding bullying and abuse. For every copy sold, a charitable donation will be made to help nurture victims and families affected by abuse through the Everything Starts with 1 organization.
