Emma's New Year-200 x 300

I think I’ve settled on this blurb for the story. But I’d like to hear which one blog readers like the best. So vote in the comments for the blurb you like best.

Blurb 1:

Emma Reed needs a change from her stale boring straight life. Her lesbian friend drags her to a gay New Year’s Eve dance. There she meets butchy El Westin, out of her league and out of her comfort zone. The unexpected kiss at midnight makes Emma’s outlook start to sparkle and get interesting again. Emma has a choice to make. Is this a night of possibilities influenced by the magic of a borrowed amethyst necklace or is it a resolution in the making?

or

Blurb 2:

Convinced to ring in the New Year at a gay club with a lesbian friend, straight girl Emma Reed gets a little more than she expects when she meets El Westin. Maybe there was something magical about that Amethyst necklace she’d borrowed for the night. Or perhaps her resistance was lowered by the fruity concoction, Hawaiian Iced Tea, she’d been drinking. Her immediate attraction to El sent up fireworks and it wasn’t even midnight. Would one night of wild sex be the start of a New Year, New life them both or end up being just another big mistake.

Vol 1 “Raynia’s Magic” a Contemporary Menage’ story M/F/M with some M/M –            A short Novella, 52 pgs.

A. J. Adaire – One Day Longer Than Forever

•cabin in snowR2BLURB:

Dr. Kate Martin needs a vacation after a failed romance with her business partner nearly ruins her. Lee Foster is recovering from her first lesbian relationship that self-destructed when her partner moved several states away, leaving her behind. Two failed romances, a double booked vacation cabin, and a blizzard—will fate intervene again and turn a passionate affair with a stranger, into something more?

E: Hello everyone my friend A.J. Adaire is visiting today to tell us more about her new release, “One Day Longer Than Forever”. Come on over and visit. It is sure to be a fun day!

First some questions, A.J.? What defines success as a writer?

A.J.: Hello Eden…first let me say that I appreciate you allowing me to revisit your blog. Thank you.

E: I love having you come visit, any time!

AJ: Ok, success can be measured in any number of ways. How well the book sells, does it make it to #1, and if it does for how long, or even does the book win any awards are all measures of success.

One way I measure success is by the letters/reviews I get from my readers. I love hearing how they’ve lost sleep staying up to read it, or planned to do something on a Saturday and lost track of time because they were reading. I love hearing how my book made them laugh or cry or touched them in some way.

If you’ve read and enjoyed a book, the nicest thing any reader can do for the author is write them a nice review telling why you enjoyed the book. Not only will the review encourage the author to keep writing, but the review will help others find a book they might enjoy. Reviews also help author’s rankings which help authors get their books noticed. It’s a happy day for sure when an author makes it to #1 in their category. I would like to thank those readers who have bought and reviewed my newest book, One Day Longer Than Forever which is currently #1 in both The UK and the US. Thank you for reading and for leaving all those 5 star reviews! I’m very grateful.

On a personal level, just surviving the process…turning a glimmer of an idea into the first draft, and eventually into a readable document, getting and responding to the edits from the first readers, complying with the suggestions from the editor, creating a final draft, reading it through one last time and submitting it to the publisher provide a sense of accomplishment and, to some degree, a feeling of success.

E: What are you working on now?

AJ: I just published One Day Longer Than Forever. I’m currently working on my next book, It’s Complicated, that deals with a moral question of commitment when one partner is injured and in a coma. It’s not as heavy as it sounds, for it is, after all, a lesbian romance.

E: That’s fantastic! Congrats on the #1 spot. The new book sounds facinating too! What is your favorite fun thing to do?

AJ: If I’m not writing, I’m reading. But if you’re talking social things, I enjoy cards and board games with friends.

E: Where have you wanted to visit or travel and never gotten to go?

AJ: Wow! Am I limited to just one place?  My partner and I have always wanted to go to Italy together. Since neither of us enjoys flying, I’ll probably never make it though.

E: Where did the idea for the current book come from?

AJ: LOL…the same place the others came from…just staring at the ceiling one day, and there it was!

E: LOL. I haven’t looked there. Maybe I should spend more time checking out the ceiling!

aj sm copyBio: If you had told me, when I was struggling to write a one page story for my high school writing composition class, that I would one day write seven novels, I would have bet everything that would never happen. No one, especially me, ever considered it a remote possibility. Thirty years later, during a blizzard, having read all the lesbian fiction books I had in the house, I declared to my surprised partner, “I think I could write one of these.” So you see, I wrote my first book just to see if I could do it.

The completed novel occupied space on my bookshelf, untouched for many years. One day while in a cleaning frenzy, I considered disposing of the neatly stacked and now age-yellowed pages. As I began to read the long forgotten work, I was surprised to discover that the story was enjoyable. Editing and retyping the first book provided a new sense of accomplishment and additional tales followed.

Now retired, I live on the east coast with my partner of thirty years. Because we love a challenge we provide a loving home for two spoiled cats instead of a dog. In addition to writing, any spare time is devoted to editing, reading, mastering new computer programs, and socializing with friends.

My published romance novels include the Friends Series: Sunset Island (September 2013), Awaiting My Assignment (November 2013) and Anything Your Heart Desires (March 2014.) The Interim, a novelette that provides additional details about the life of Sunset Island’s Ren Madison, was released in November 2013. I have four other novels in process.

Author Spotlight Harper Bliss

Good Morning! Today my guest for Author Spotlight is Harper Bliss.

About Harper Bliss

Harper Bliss has travelled the world in search of sexual satisfaction. She now resides in a hot Asian country and dedicates her time to writing down the stories that have inspired and aroused her. Harper is the author of the High Rise series, the French Kissing serial and several other lesbian erotic romance titles. She is the co-founder of Ladylit, an independent press focusing on lesbian erotica.

You can follow Harper on Facebook and Twitter. She also has an Amazon and GoodReads profile.

Ms. Bliss, I have a few questions for you this morning to help readers get to know you a little better.  I love the line about traveling the world to find sexual satisfaction. Inquiring minds wonder if you wound it in that Hot Asian country?

But First, What inspires your writing process?

Emotions, mostly. As all writers, I often get the dreaded question: where do you get your inspiration? I usually smile it off and think about all the moments in an ordinary day when I feel inspired because I’m experiencing an emotion. Most of my stories are very character driven and emotions are what define my characters. A derivative source of inspiration (but very important to me) is music. Then again, most music is emotion and trying to translate that into words is, I guess, how I write and get inspired.

Just to give you an example: my novelette I Still Remember  was completely inspired by the Bloc Party song of the same title.

E:  Me too, the emotion hooks me in.

What are three tips you have for aspiring writers?

1. Don’t wait for the mythical ‘muse’ to strike and leave you overflowing with divine inspiration. Find a time for writing that works best for you (for me that time is in the morning, as soon as I roll out of bed) and try to establish a regular writing pattern. Even if you only manage a few hundred words every other day, at some point these words will add up to a novel (or a novella, or a short story). The most important thing is to show up at regular intervals and do the work.

2. Don’t expect greatness from the get-go. It’s highly unlikely that your first effort will become a bestseller, but that’s okay. You’re using your time wisely to learn the craft, become a better story-teller, and figure out how everything works.

3. Read in abundance. The best way to become a better writer is by reading.

E: Excellent Advice

What’s your next project and when is it due out?

For the past six months I’ve been working on a serial called French Kissing  The concept is that of a TV show (more specifically, in this case: The L Word in Paris), but in e-book form. Since January, I’ve released a new episode every month and now the boxed set is available. It’s a wild, dramatic, emotional and sexy ride following a group of close-knit Parisian lesbians as they navigate the stormy waters of life and love.

E: Sounds Yummy!!! Tell us something more about it.

French Kissing: Season One by Harper Bliss

What’s New Blog Tour

This is my contribution to the “blog tour” game going around the Internet. I was tagged by, an author friend Helen Dunn just as I was leaving for vacation. So here we are!
1.What am I working on?
I am working on a free summer read for my readers. It is titled “Dragon Betrayal”.  This story is a little bit of Kiernan’s back story. It is a M/F Erotic Paranormal Romance

I am also working on Vol 2 of “Drakins of Wyrmarach” titled “Dragon Mark”, a menage Erotic Paranormal. The continuation of the story in “Dragon Guardian”. DG is where we first met Kiernan as a secondary character.

I also have a release coming out from Rebel Ink Press titled “Emma’s New Year” a F/F short story in a contemporary setting.

2.How does my work differ from others in the same genre?
Well, I write M/M and F/F and Polyamorous / Menage erotic romance. I think I really dig into the story and the emotions between the protagonists.

3.Why do I write what I do?
Stories come to me and I write what I get ideas for. They happen to span the erotic genres of lesbian romance, M/M romance, and menage/poly and with the summer release I will have a M/F straight hetero couple erotic romance.

4. How does my writing process work?
I have a big ideas file. I work on what is most pressing at the moment under deadline or most interesting. I write draft and then go back through adding layers in the editing phase.

visit my books page here to see what I’ve got out there.  My latest adventure is bringing the books into audio format.

thanks for reading.

New Technology

New Technology abounds. A friend recently reminded me that there was a time when wise men and women could know everything there was to know. Everything possible to be known at that time and place could in fact be learned and known by a single person.

That isn’t possible any longer. Technology and the world is changing by the second. The best we can hope for is to know all the ways to retrieve information when we need it.

Comments?

An interesting side note. I posted this blog post by writing an email. Very interesting tool here.

New Web Page – Debut

Hello my friends.

I’m spending the day in the mountains and since my mind can’t seem to focus on what I SHOULD be doing…which is WRITING/EDITING, “Dragon Guardian” …er ahhh.  Well, I redesigned my web page.

A lot of the previous plug in’s that WordPress offers did not work on the new template. Take a look and let me know what you think about it.

I’d love to have your comments from a reader stand point, or marketing and promotion, or just your opinion.

I’d have extra “LOVE” if someone could tell me how to get a WordPress template that has a way to put the book covers on the page and link to a background page for the blurb etc I’d be ever so happy. Right now the books page scrolls down. That’s fine when you only have two or three books. I’ve not got six and three more coming this spring. It’s getting a bit cumbersome!

So that is all my friends. Make I can dig into those edits now. I am anxious to hear your comments. There might be a prize for the best comment of the weekend!

BLURB:

Malachi Blackfeather has spent twenty years in the Army. Two of those years as a Vietnam POW. Now that he’s out, all he wants is some peace and quiet to figure out what to do with the rest of his life. Between the flashbacks, and an over interest in sex that is now being called sex addiction, finding his path isn’t easy.

Kat is trying to escape an abusive marriage. Her soon to be ex is a master at manipulating the system, and her family thinks she should stay with him, “because no other man will want her”. She’s looking for escape in any form she can get it.

When they meet, sparks fly. Trapped by a blizzard, can two damaged people, who think there is no chance of love in the world for them, find each other, and survive an unforeseen circumstance that puts both of them in danger?

Mystery, romance, and danger, fill this novel, with a story that will draw you in and not let go.

Excerpt

The heater stood dark and cold.  I should have gotten up after we were done.  Filled it and restarted it.  I hadn’t wanted to move.  Still didn’t want to, despite the cold in the room.  Dim light streamed in through the window, sleety snow still battered the glass.  Shook the door in its frame.  How long could this blizzard go on?

I tightened my arms around Kat.  Forever.  Then she would have to stay right in this room with me–in my arms.  Nothing made sense, everything my life had been for the last twenty-five years rang like a bad dream, a nightmare from the pits of Vietnam.  So dead inside that any feeling fed me, woman after woman, man after man, no one let me hold on to what I felt for more than a few shared moments.  Lies whispered to the tiny ember of my soul that I had left.  This is the one, they told me, this one will make you feel, will bring you back to life.

They never did.

Kat ran her hand down my arm.  Snuggled closer to me.  A chill that had nothing to do with how cold the room had become, shook me.  Spoke to me.  I could again with her, and I knew I would keep feeling what I was.  Alive.  Warm.  As if I had a soul inside me, not just a demon who preyed on others for my next fix of emotions.

“I should fill that heater and get us some warmth again.”

“Yeah, I suppose one of us should,” she said with no intention to do so in her voice.

I tightened the bear’s embrace I held her in, tangled my legs with hers.  She pushed at my arm, wanted to make me let go of her.

“I don’t want to let go of you yet,” I said.  If I let her go, the surging emotions inside me would vanish with the warmth of holding her.

Writers and Pen Names

Male Novelist Could Be First Man To Win Romantic Novel Award Since 1960

Posted at 7:19AM Monday 17 Feb 2014

For more than 50 years, female writers have won the top UK award for romantic fiction, and at first 2014 looked to be no different.

But all was not as it seemed. One of the 36 writers shortlisted by the Romantic Novelists’ Association (RNA) for its Romantic Novel of the Year award, Jessica Blair, is in fact a pseudonym of Bill Spence, a 90-year-old war hero.”

Book Trade.info website.

I’m happy for Jessica Blair aka Bill Spence. Historically many noted women have written under male pseudonyms.  An article about the various reasons authors choose pen names and some of the more famous women who have written under a mans name or one that could be gender ambiguous.

Now we are seeing a rise in the opposite phenomenon. There are a number of men who write under a female pen name particularly in the area of romance fiction. Why? probably to be taken more seriously.

Rumor has it that J.K. Rowling was advised to publish under those initials rather than her name Jessica because a nine year old boy wouldn’t want to read an adventure book written by a woman.

So, why should it be any different for a man trying to write romance.

Lisette Kristensen is one such author, a man writing under a female pen name. There are many in varying degrees of being outed as such. Some writers on both sides of the switch, prefer to keep their gender identity unknown.

Yes, there are even men who write Lesbian Erotic Fiction. I don’t particularly find anything wrong with that. The proof is in the book that they write. Either a reader likes it or they don’t. I’m not especially concerned whether a man, a woman, a transgendered individual or who wrote it.

Straight women write lesbian erotic fiction and they write m/m gay erotic fiction. Straight men write m/m erotic fiction and they write lesbian erotic fiction. Lesbian women write m/m erotic fiction and I’m sure there is a gay man out there who writes lesbian erotic fiction.

Does it really matter? If I am a fan of say an author… Raquel Reinhold, for example, just to throw a name out there…and I love what she writes. I love it so much that I correspond with her via her face book page (set up as an author’s page), and via email. She is going to correspond with me in the context of that pen name.

Do I have any idea WHO Raquel Reinhold really is? All I know is the presentation of the Author’s page, that she writes lesbian erotic fiction. Is she obligated to correspond with me and say er oh, by the way I’m a middle aged white man living in Baltimore? I DON’T THINK SO. She has her reasons for adopting a female pen name. Just as any woman has the right to adopt a male pen name. People, it is fiction writing and a social networking platform based on a pseudonym.

There are a host of reasons why a person might choose a pen name opposite their apparent gender. Do I feel deceived by this? If I am then I’d better be offended by everyone who writes fiction. It wasn’t written as expose memoire and expected to be biographical.

I recently had a guest on my page that had evidently adopted a pen name based on a gender opposite their apparent one.

I received a comment on my page that I can only attribute to a militant separatist lesbian group. I don’t use that label as “name calling” but strictly as descriptive of what I am seeing. They actually frighten me a little bit in the extent they went to stalking this author. Yes I said stalking.

They have hundreds of screen shots from this author’s FB page. They investigated all this author’s various pen names and via the website records of who actually owned the website behind the pen name. They even have power bills from the author’s home. They called the author’s home/cell phone number. And they’ve published all of this information on several websites. They’ve admitted to one of their websites being forced down and claim to continue posting, I suppose, in the name of all that’s right and just in the universe. Can you say Cough, Cough, er CRAZY, Cough, Cough.

They have outed this author with cries of fraud and deception for every pen name this particular author adopts. And they are on the watch to ferret out each new name that evolves. The author apparently forced to adopt a new pen name, in what I can only assume is an effort to escape their dogged relentless pursuit. And, yes I am being especially vague on the name and details of this author in question. Firstly because I don’t want to give any more air time than I already have to the women who have this author under attack. And, secondly because I don’t have a desire to out this author in question. It’s not my place.

Reading the multiple blogs and posts about the ‘crimes’ this author allegedly perpetrated upon readers I have to shrug and say… okay, a couple of the alleged actions weren’t in best judgement professionally. It’s tacky to have one pen name leave a good review for another pen name of the same person. Have I done it? sure, when I was brand new published and before I thought wiser of it. And there was a matter I wasn’t clear on about a contest. I couldn’t pick my way through to understand what the issue was there. However, come on people… You weren’t catfished on match.com. Either the writer tells a good story worth the $2 bucks or they don’t. You don’t like the plot, don’t buy it.

Now, if I am to understand some of their rant, I believe they were especially disappointed because they would only want their dollars spent on lesbian erotic fiction to go to true lesbian writers. What? Shall they require authors to produce a birth certificate and their ‘I’m a real lesbian’ card prior to purchase. The position of “I will only do business with confirmed GLBTQ organizations and individuals” is just as detrimental to the cause of tolerance and equality as those who stand on the opposite bank and throw rocks saying “Gay’s not served here.” ‘Woosa’ people.

I can’t even fathom the brokenness that leads to this kind of behavior and attitude. I realize I risk coming under their scrutiny and perhaps wrath by writing this blog. The whole experience has reminded me that while bullies do grow up, they don’t necessarily out-grow and stop the bully behaviors.

I will entertain discussion and comments but! I’ll delete anything I deem out of line. My Sand Box – My Rules

Author Spotlight – Helen Dunn Author of Gia’s Good Fortune

My guest today is Helen Dunn. Welcome

Author Bio:

Helen Dunn grew up, an only child, in an environment that was almost 19th century.  She lived on dirt roads and learned to read by a kerosene lamp as the house they lived in at that time had no electricity.

Until she moved from her parents home, she lived with an icebox not a refrigerator, and although they graduated to a gas cook stove, she can still remember her mother cooking on a wood burning cook stove and ironing clothes by heating the iron atop that stove.

Her Dad farmed with mules until around 1950, so she experienced riding in a wagon pulled by mules and riding on the back of a mule. As a youngster, she helped bring the cows in from the pasture, learned to milk a cow and a goat, went poke picking with her mother and hand-picked cotton in the fields.

As an adult she lived in large cities but in her mid fifties she and her female partner of many years moved back to the country, where they greatly enjoy the peace, quiet and space.

Readers who are interested in romance, humor, historical, or paranormal/supernatural themes in lesbian fiction, are invited to visit Helen Dunn’s Author’s page at amazon.

Blurbs & excerpts are at the screen for each individual book:

Helen Dunn author

Chatting with Helen revealed we have a lot in common and she had great advice for authors.

What is the biggest challenge you face as a writer of lesbian fiction? Titles.  Trying to come up a good title that fits the story is nearly always tough for me to do.

EG:  Me TOO! If I don’t start out with a title then I suffer and struggle to get one at the end.

Tell us something no one else knows about you. When I was still a child, my mother would read Charles Dickens novels to me, which instilled an appreciation of literature in me.

EG: I love that. I have fond memories of my family reading together. It was a tradition I continue today.

Do you ever feel moments of “burnout” and if so, What do you do to keep your writing fresh? There have been times I have thought – this will be the last story I ever write – I am totally out of ideas. Then I go digging out old manuscripts that are a complete mess and it’s a rewarding challenge to see if I can turn them into something far better than they were originally or else I see something that will inspire me to do a completely new story.

EG: I’ll remember this advice. Sounds like a great plan to keep energized. I make files with notes on possible stories so I have plenty of fodder to browse when I need this boost.

When did you start writing and what kicked off your passion to be an author? I was 9 years old and I wrote my first story on the blank backside of a calendar.  Back then, which would have been around 1949, calendars did not print their information on both sides of the pages.  I wish I still had the story, but it went missing many years ago what with our many moves from farm to farm.  The story was about a brother and sister, close to my own age, who were staying with their grandmother.  Their widowed father, however, re-marries and they go to live with him, their stepmother and their step-siblings.  There is quite a bit of friction with the step-siblings, who as near as I can remember, were sort of bullies.

I did not write more until my teens.Graduating at 16 from high school caused me some difficulty in moving out into the world. I was an only child and had lived an isolated life with my parents and all the moving had left me traumatized.  I think my passion for writing came about as a way to keep my sanity and express my feelings during those lonely years in my late teens when I was trying to get myself together.

EG: Oh Helen. I graduated early too. I became an emancipated minor and as an only child had a bit of struggle to find my place in life. Sounds like writing saved you!

Helen’s most recent release is: Gia’s Good Fortune – a humorous lesbian novella.  Here is the buy link for this book:

Blurb: Gia Hulp comes across a wrecked car, a dead driver and a big bundle of money.  The temptation is too much to resist.

Unity Kessler, beautiful, savvy lesbian investment powerbroker, wants this money back if only she can discover who took it.  A good natured, bumbling trucker might have the answer to that question if Unity can get him to focus, but that’s going to be like pulling hen’s teeth.

b.c. for Eden

EG: I’m hooked from the blurb!

Excerpt below:

CHAPTER 1

The vintage red Lamborghini flew past Gia Hulp’s car as if she were sitting still.

“Idiot!” Gia declared, “Where the hell does he think he’s going in such an all fired hurry—cemetery most likely.” She added, as she kept her own vehicle at a steady 55, no more, no less.  She’d had a perfect driving record for more than some 20 years, and was rather proud of the fact; although if she allowed herself, she did have more than a trace of envy regarding the red Lamborghini.

Fifteen minutes later, Gia saw the missing guard rail, where it had been torn out with three of the support posts gone.

“I knew it! I knew it!” Gia muttered under her breath as she slowed down to see if there was anything she could do.

Climbing out of her car, she went over to the edge of the road where the car had shot through the railing. Below, she could see the red Lamborghini, the front of it crunched up like an accordion against the huge trunk of an enormous pine tree.

A snowman would have a better chance in a furnace than whoever’s down there, Gia thought as she began a careful descent down the extremely steep slope towards the wreckage.

It didn’t take long after she arrived at where the Lamborghini had come to a halt to realize there was nothing anyone could do for the person inside the car. Air bags had not been available the year this car had been made, and he wasn’t wearing his seat belt. Consequently, the driver was squashed against the steering wheel; his head a bloody, battered mess from where it had hit the windshield and then bounced back from the impact.

Gia turned away feeling somewhat nauseous at the sight. “Poor devil didn’t stand a chance.” She whispered to herself.

The passenger door had sprung open. Perhaps there was someone else, who had been thrown clear, although Gia didn’t have much hope for them either.  She figured she’d better at least look around. Stumbling around in the weeds on the uneven, rocky ground, she searched for several yards but saw no one.

“Eh? What’s this?” Gia said to herself, as she came back to the car and spied the black leather carrying case.  She bent down to pick it up and noticed the catch had come loose, that was when her eyes beheld the dull green paper inside.

“Whoa!” Gia exclaimed, as she opened the case completely up and stared at the neat rows of bundles upon bundles of currency.

It was possible he had robbed a bank, but somehow it seemed unlikely given the clothes he was wearing and the expensive car; unless he had robbed several banks with a different look than what he now sported and a less noticeable car, Gia surmised.  Well, she’d just hang onto this for safekeeping and listen to see what was on the news, she decided.

“Raynia’s Magic” on Sale Through Valentines Day

In honor of it’s publication anniversary, I am able to offer “Raynia’s Magic” vol 1 of The Amethyst Desire Collection” on sale for $.99. at Amazon

Blurb:

Raynia Castellano is drawn to purchase an amethyst pendant as an impulse buy but not before the clerk assures Raynia the magic is in the woman, not the necklace that seems to call to her. And given Raynia has just left an adulterous ex-husband and has recently settled into a law practice with her oh so sexy and oh so apparently gay law partners, surely a little magic is required.

200x300RayniasMagic

Excerpt:

Peter watched Raynia move past Sally’s desk. Just the view of her Marilyn Monroe curves awakened his cock and started an inevitable hard-on. As she turned for her office, the view of her heart shaped ass finished stiffening his erection to a painful thickness trapped in his briefs. This had to end soon.

The side door of his and Chase’s connecting offices opened and his partner watched him with a grin and similar evidence in the form of a tented crotch in his trousers.

Peter tossed instructions over his shoulder as he crossed the room. “Sally, hold our calls for a while.”

“Yes, Mr. Thornton.” He closed the office door and turned to Chase.

“I can’t suffer like this much longer.” He pulled out the chair and sat down, adjusting his pants and cock to a less uncomfortable position.

Chase leaned in the opening of the door. “You’re the one who had the bright idea to let her think we’re gay.”

“You know she was a wreck after her husband left her. She needed a place to stay where she felt safe. I didn’t exactly know how to broach the conversation of Chase and I are bi-sexual and have wanted to jump your bones since we were freshmen together. Chalk it up to, our timing sucks.”

Chase pushed away from the doorframe and crossed the room to lean over Peter’s chair. He punctuated his words with forefinger jabs to Peter’s chest. “Yes, well our little butterfly is emerging and if we don’t do something soon another bee is going to be dipping into that honey.”

Peter slapped Chase’s hand away. “Didn’t anyone ever brief you on the concept of metaphors and explain–what you do with them should be grounds for incarceration.”

Hot hot hot story!!! I love that Raynia wasn’t your typical size 2 perfect boobed heroine. And I love friends to lovers stories. The writing itself was light and fun (except for that twist) and a truly enjoyable read.
